No problem. Every page link in the navigation drop downs can be turned on and off using admin controls. So, if you don't want to use a page you can turn it off. You can always come back later and turn the page on when you're ready to present that content.
At least one picture is required for the home page rotator, but it is not required on the inner pages. That said we highly recommend pictures as they really add a lot to the user experience. There are controls for each individual page as to whether or not to display a picture on the page. You can always start off without pictures and add them later.
